Hi there, your main BIOS issue is getting tricky. After switching to the backup BIOS it works, but you're wondering if you can apply changes like forcing Gen3 PCIE from your current backup setup. Let me know if you need more clarity! Thanks!

What kind of motherboard are you using? 2nd point—have you reviewed the manual? Also, feel free to join the forums! Note: If it's a Gigabyte model, the main BIOS should re-flash after booting from backup. If the BIOS isn't functioning properly, there could be an issue with the BIOS chip or similar components.

You're using a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master. It's good to be welcomed, but flashing might reset your settings. Try a CMOS reset or BIOS function to recover your picture.

It’s necessary to use the Ricer to force Gen3 because the system usually boots automatically. Running it from the backup BIOS would be an alternative option.

Using PCIE on auto always shows a VGA Debug light and no image. Switching to Gen4 doesn't help either. Gen 3 still works. I feel like something in my BIOS has failed, so I'm eager to fix it.

Review the MB manual to confirm if reflashing the main during backup BIOS should occur. If confirmed and unsuccessful, consider keeping it unchanged.

It seems you're wondering if you can modify certain settings directly within the BIOS to fix the issue. You're checking if changing something now would resolve the problem of not seeing the VGA Debug light.

Not sure about it, haven't used dual BIOS much lately. Of course, I remember trying it before. The riser part was a bit confusing. Check this link for guidance: https://www.overclock.net/threads/copy-b...s.1441402/
