Is there a method to create a switch that changes between SSDs to decide which boots? Would it simply involve using the 12V supply and adding a switch to identify the active one? I don't want to dual boot, as it's really frustrating!

If you prefer not to dual boot, I recommend using Virtualbox: https://www.virtualbox.org/
