I bought an Alienware prebuilt two years ago and am planning to relocate most parts to a fresh case and motherboard for improved stability and cooling. My i7-9700k is already overclocked, so I’m wondering if I need to replace it or can I move it without any problems. I’ve searched online but haven’t found a clear solution.

Overclocking settings are saved in the BIOS. The CPU works perfectly fine. Just restart and turn the profile back on in BIOS.
