Hello, James, I appreciate your request. I'm working on restoring my old T410 and was wondering if fitting an i7-2620m would be feasible. I've only seen information about the i7-640m, but I can't find it locally in the Netherlands. It seems the i5-520m uses the same socket as the PGA988 and draws similar power levels. Please let me know how I can help bring your old machine back to life!

Use HWiNFO to open the Motherboard section and see which CPUs fit your board.

The models @Gen Chimaera 520M and 2620M belong to separate generations and cannot be used together.
