Survival in the wilds of Ark: a challenging adventure.
I just found this on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=147&v=FW9vsrPWujI It seems to launch in June on Steam, priced around 20 euros. From what I see, it resembles a rust game—focusing on weapons, crafting, building bases, and character design graphics—but set in an open-world dinosaur setting. It looks impressive and promising. What do you all think?
You might also choose to wait until it becomes available. It simply provides an alternative way to access it sooner.
we had a system called beta that was completely free. this allowed people interested in the game to get involved in its development. with early access, they would typically just offer beta and then stop, leaving most of the time. unless they later sell early access and then charge for in-game purchases again.
This game seems amazing despite my usual dislike for survival titles.
Usually I avoid such games, but this teaser seems interesting. I’ll hold off until I see the actual playthrough and hear people’s thoughts before deciding to purchase.
If individuals were more thoughtful and avoided early access, we'd still have open beta programs.
If I'm right, this should also apply to consoles, as I saw a livestream interview that seemed encouraging.
I generally don’t enjoy survival games, yet I’m passionate about dinosaurs. That love outweighs my dislike, so I’ll take a look.
