Let's break this down simply. My main desktop is under repair, and I've been dealing with slow performance in games lately. My dad moved his office for his company, so he's sending me an old server PC once the data transfer is done. This machine is really outdated.

Here are the specs I have:
- Motherboard: Unknown
- CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 435 (3 cores, max 2.9GHz)
- Cooler: Stock case
- RAM: 2GB DDR2 at 800MHz (quite old but still decent)
- GPU: GTX 750ti I found nearby
- HDD1: 500GB drive
- HDD2: 1TB drive
- OS: Windows 10 Pro
- Power supply: Around 350W

When I installed the GPU, CS:GO was running at about 40-80 FPS at 1080P, and Black Ops II zombies around 75-100 FPS. That surprised me a bit, but since it needs only 2GB RAM, it should work fine. Even though it won't handle heavy games well, it still shows some potential if I upgrade the GPU.

I also got two monitors for fun, bringing my total to five displays:
- 28" 4K 1ms 60Hz TN (bought myself)
- 24" 1080P 6ms 60Hz TN (for a birthday)
- 23" 1080P 5MS 60Hz IPS (birthday gift)
- 21.5" 1080P 5MS 75Hz TN (from my old PC)
- 20" 900P 5MS 60Hz TN (from my old PC)
- 42" 1080P ?Ms ?Hz TV (from 2008)

I'm also getting two more old laptops, hoping one of them is decent enough for school work.

The 750 Ti offers impressive performance with minimal space needs and a PCIe 16x port. At just a hundred dollars, it can transform nearly any computer into a solid gaming machine.

I'm actually using the PC right now, though multitasking isn't really effective. It's fine, but it slows things down a lot.

The 750ti is the latest version of the 7750... But much closer to what I have right now, hehe.

I won’t keep using this desktop much longer. I’ll switch back to my dual 980 Ti build once it’s resolved, then swap out about half the components for my sister and move to a dual Xeon configuration.

I don’t intend to keep this PC for extended periods. Instead, I’m thinking about purchasing another 2GB DDR2 800MHz stick and using it mainly for family storage like photos. The existing 1TB HDD will handle that.

Sure, I can clarify what a NAS server does. It's a system that stores and manages files on network-attached storage devices, making them easily accessible for users.

I'm only using this machine until college, and I won't need a desktop afterward.
