Hi everyone, I recently purchased a Surface Go on Amazon. I attempted to install apps but it’s stuck in S mode. When trying to activate, I receive an error message stating I can’t connect to the organization’s activation server because it’s set to Windows 10 Home. I get this even though the product hasn’t been activated yet. My concern is whether buying a genuine Windows key will resolve this issue. I don’t want to spend over $100 and still face the same activation problem. Thanks in advance!
Ensure your date and time are accurate. Update Windows completely and attempt again. If needed, set your region to United States and try once more. If this still fails, check if your account is linked to a school or work email address. Or confirm it's a local account using a personal Microsoft account such as @hotmail.com, @live.com, or @outlook.com.
