Hey everyone, a while back I explored my BIOS and adjusted a few options, which significantly boosted performance. Now my nephew pressed the load optimized defaults button, but lately my games are running sluggishly. If you can, could you assist in tweaking the BIOS settings to get my PC back to speed? I’m not very experienced with overclocking and don’t recall the steps last time I did it at 4.6GHz. My CPU is a Ryzen 5 5600X, GPU is RTX 3060, and I use an Asus Tuf B550 Plus.
Search for PBO and turn it on. Adjust the limits and optimizer settings if needed. If you're serious about tuning your Ryzen 5000, this might be worth the time. For future reference, older BIOS versions offered profile saving options both in the BIOS and via external storage. On ASUS boards, locate the overclocking submenu under the "tools" tab. After identifying it, save the profile for later use.
