It’s clear that installing Yandex Browser isn’t necessary—there are other options available. I’ve owned a Galaxy S8 for two years and had to reinstall it twice, which has made it slower again. Malware shouldn’t be an issue, and so should keyloggers. I’m not advocating replacing Android entirely; instead, I suggest introducing a rival app that supports compatible apps.

Yes, there are ROMs available. You can install Twrp, then set up a stock Android experience.

Evil actors will always succeed. After seeing Samsung’s TizenOS in action on my Gear S3 Frontier, I’m certain I wouldn’t choose a device built with their operating system.
