It seems there have been recent changes in Windows that affect permissions and functionality. You're experiencing issues with file copying, folder creation, and ownership settings. The behavior you described—Windows warning about existing files during copy operations, unexpected folder duplication, and needing to manually set ownership—could be related to updated security protocols or new system features. It might also stem from a registry adjustment that restricts certain actions. Try checking your file permissions, updating Windows if necessary, and reviewing any recent changes in settings or updates. If the problem persists, consider consulting Microsoft support for deeper troubleshooting.

Verify your access through File Explorer. It could be hiding something. I've faced issues before, but often fixed them by checking for background processes (Task Manager) that might be using the file. Windows sometimes shows files as in use without permission, preventing edits or moves.

I just reinstalled Windows 10 a bit over a week ago, and everything seems fine. I haven’t made many changes—just installed some games and basic apps. I’ll take a closer look later. I’m not sure if any issues are related to permissions.
