Hello! I just purchased a new computer and it’s my first time using one. I’m not familiar with PCs yet, so I’m reaching out for guidance. I’ve been using a Mac for about three years and have no idea how to get started. Could you share some tips on booting the system and basic usage? Thank you!

Hey there! Are you sure you got it all set up as a complete PC right from the start? With the OS and everything pre-installed, getting started should just be a quick press of the power button.

This seems like a playful challenge. Are you serious? Go ahead and press that power button!

I take your concern seriously. Your computer is already set up, but I understand you might need to launch certain applications or perform tasks.

No need for many extra programs; basic security is usually sufficient.

Be cautious about third-party software solutions. Avoid antivirus programs provided by vendors that seem intrusive.

A vendor can refer to a provider of goods or services, not necessarily a virus. It’s a term used in business and technology contexts.

It's similar to software the maker already added to your computer. No worries, no viruses—just safe. I strongly recommend installing Avast! Antivirus right away; it's completely free!
