Recently, after downloading games, I've experienced extremely slow download speeds. On Mega I'm getting below 1mbps (usually I expect at least 20), which wasn't too much of an issue since most files are small. However, when I tried reinstalling PUGB on Steam, I consistently got around 1.7mbps—no fluctuations, not even near that. This issue affects almost all my apps and services. I've changed my DNS settings, reset the router, and switched to Ethernet. My internet speed is usually over 50mbps, so I'm unsure what else to try. It seems my ISP might be problematic (I'm in the UK). I'm using Windows 10 with the latest update, a 16GB UD graphics card, 24GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, and HD DVD. My OS is installed on the hard drive (though I haven't reinstalled yet). I've also noticed occasional ping spikes, but never dropped below 0 to 70. Anyone have any advice or a download speed graph from Steam? Edit: I switched servers to other countries and still see similar results with minimal variation.

Restart your router and perform a speed test to confirm no one else is using the connection. If the results don’t meet your expected rate, contact your ISP. Remember, internet speeds are measured in different units: MBps for your provider and Mbps for ISPs. Keep in mind that 8Mbps equals 1MBps.
