I have a really important reason to bring an old Instagram chat back from when it was deleted, but getting all my IG data doesn't help me there, even after trying many times. Is there any way to get those lost chats? Does that stuff sit somewhere in the cloud? I can't think of another place to ask except maybe throwing a shot at Reddit or some other random spot.

If you removed it from your profile, that item is probably just stuck to Instagram and could only come back if you ask there. Have you asked them yet?

I'm not sure how to reach out. The only option I see is to tell someone about an issue and then search the internet. That makes me think they will never reply unless you are a big influencer with millions of fans. It would take too long if that's true. Is there another way to ask them?

I don't know that. The person who talked to me could be the one with it. But I think that's not a choice for you.
