It's likely okay with Corsair sticks on Ryzen setups, though performance has improved significantly. It probably wouldn't be wise to choose this motherboard. While the board isn't bad, there are superior options available at lower prices if you skip the X570 lineup. The main differences between X570 and B550 are mainly about multiple Gen 4 SSDs (gamers usually don’t need more than one) and VFIO support. If you don’t require an X570, a B550 model offers better value for money. Options like B550 Tuf, steel legend, or B550-A Pro match the price and provide a much stronger overall build.
Also note that AM5 is coming soon, so waiting might save you some cash now. Even if you prefer not to switch, AM4 parts will likely drop in price soon, helping you save.

The system should function, though it isn't perfect. Relying on slower DDR4 would hurt performance. Both AMD and Intel will release new CPUs soon, so wait if possible. If you must act now, Intel offers better choices than the 5700X and X570 you mentioned—consider the 12600K+Z690 or the 12700F+B660, both outperforming the 5700X in most areas. For AMD enthusiasts, a B550 motherboard is recommended unless you specifically need features only available on the X570.
Sure thing, buddy. The issue is that I’m stuck with finance options only, and my bank seems to be playing a trick on me. I’ve heard most folks suggest not financing, but that’s the only path here. Don’t waste time saving up—just stick with what you have. Also, don’t bother checking that site, it’s probably misleading. I’m looking into AMD CPUs and motherboards, and the 5700X is a solid choice for gaming. It might be worth a look, but my budget is tight at around £500. Thanks for the support!
