First encounter with Letho is really tough—I just can't beat him! 😤 It's super frustrating. I've searched online, watched tutorials, tried different approaches, but nothing seems to work. After about two hours of effort, I can only bring him down to around 80% health. Anyone who has faced this situation have any tips or tricks? Your advice would mean a lot. Thanks!

Explosives, projectiles and indicators are really useful for editing – plus, a lot of motion

I continued using that cold, glowing stun spell right after dodging his attack. It creates a brief opening to strike him from behind. The key is to avoid being too eager—just make a few swings, then retreat and dodge again. Trying to land many hits will likely backfire.

Go for a quick break, then give it another shot. It requires patience, timing, and a bit of luck.

I faced the same problem, but I was too eager the first time trying to hit four times. I relied heavily on signs and constantly dodged.

You're asking about the meaning behind the "signs" in this strategy. It seems you're referring to specific cues or indicators that signal when to use Aard, when to attack, and how to manage your positioning and timing. Essentially, these signs help you decide the best moment to act while avoiding being caught off guard.

Aard, Igni, Yrden, Quen and Axii represent symbols. Consider applying Yrden to Letho—it's really beneficial.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I've been struggling for a while and haven't managed to lower him below 75% health. I'm being as cautious as possible with timing and avoiding his attacks, but he always manages to hit me... AAARRRGGGGG!!!!!!!

Initially : I understand your frustration. It's been some time since I played the game, yet I vividly recall believing it would be one of the toughest boss battles ever due to his impressive abilities. During my first run-through, I eventually gave up and set the difficulty to "easy." I don't really suggest this approach because he simply avoids obstacles and can be easily defeated by clicking him. Not very rewarding. But when I revisited the game after the Enhanced Edition's release, I succeeded in defeating him during the "Dark" section. The only tactic that brought me close was using Yrden consistently. Place a marker on the ground and then quickly evade his moves. When he targets you, you can enter, hit once (twice if lucky), and then move away safely. It may take a while, but it's effective—this is the only method I discovered to maintain enough distance so he can't easily catch you off guard. As everyone else has mentioned: mastering dodges is essential for this fight.

I used Yrden, but it only functions about 25% of the time. He often just passes through and might trip a bit. If I'm lucky, it keeps him in place for a while. When it fails and he stumbles, I attempt to hit him, but he blocks. It's also difficult to subdue because it requires a few seconds, and he usually counters with his Aard, then throws a bomb or poison at me. <_< I believe the setting is "normal" difficulty, but if I still can't overcome him after several attempts, I might need to adjust it. Only so many tries are possible...
