Hi everyone, I'm still getting the hang of setting up networks. I recently moved into a new house with two ceiling-mounted Unifi access points (see image) and a Ubquiti switch 8 60W that connects the APs. The setup looks like this: https://prnt.sc/EmIS0B8t7ldy and https://prnt.sc/SLcVbIoGPxRv. When I connect an internet source to the first port of the switch, the WiFi networks (2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz) show up. But once I join a network, I can't access the internet. Even after disconnecting the internet from the switch, the WiFi disappears no matter what I do with the PoE cables. The previous owners had set up the WiFi and gave me their password and login details. I've tried resetting the switch but not the APs yet because I don’t have enough equipment. Could anyone help? From what I see online, am I missing a Cloud Gateway for this configuration?

I'm currently at work and can't access the screenshots on the company network. Please don't use another Unifi account. Set up your own UI.com account, reset all devices, and switch over to the new one.

Use a tool like a Dream machine or cloud key to handle everything. Install the UniFi app, climb a ladder, reset each access point, and configure them as gateways.

You can execute their software on Windows (or Linux, though Windows is acceptable). As mentioned before, OP, avoid using another person’s account since they might be able to log in remotely. Create your own account, install Unifi’s controller software on Windows, reset all devices, integrate the switch into your Unifi controller, then connect the switches and finalize the setup. There are numerous YouTube tutorials that can assist you with this process.

Thank you for the update! I’ve placed an order for a large ladder and will install it once I’m ready. It seems I missed needing a router or controller, so there should be one connecting the fiber box to the switch.
