Hi everyone! To have your screen turn on automatically when lifted, you can set up a power automation or use a shortcut in Windows. Let me know if you need more details!

You're stuck. You can either press the power button or put the computer to sleep. Keep waiting... Remember, you're in a hospital setting.

It seems you're asking about the capabilities of the MacBook Pro 2016. Could you clarify what specific feature or function you're curious about?

Sure, let me clarify that for you. Putting something to sleep usually saves your data and doesn’t harm your computer.

You're asking about what spoiling means. If you're using mechanical drives, it's not ideal—especially if you carry them in your backpack. Even when the computer is off, the mechanical parts keep spinning, which can cause damage. With an SSD, you're safe.

You possess a storage setup with both SSD and HDD, where the SSD contains the operating system and the HDD holds your data.

I prefer not to use my laptop while it's asleep or with the lid shut. That's up to you, but it might harm an HDD. No worries about it, though—pressing the power button and waiting a bit is simple enough.

Look for the BIOS settings, usually found under "Advanced" or "Built-in Devices." If a feature appears, it means the laptop's hardware can send the necessary signal.
