So far back in the day I’ve been enjoying GTA V since its release in 2013 on PS3. Around November last year it stopped working, but I managed to get it on Steam combined platforms. I think I’ve logged around 1500 hours—about 500 on PC and roughly 1000 on PS3 (just an estimate because I can’t check anymore). Recently I faced a major freezing issue and haven’t heard back from Rockstar support for three days now. I reached out via Twitter too, but got no reply either.

In the past, when I contacted them, they usually just gave vague answers like “the rebate wasn’t processed” or similar excuses. They didn’t seem urgent, so I didn’t think much of it. But since I flagged this as a problem that made the game unplayable, it should definitely be at the top of their list. It’s frustrating because it’s the weekend when support usually gets more attention, yet they still take days to respond. Rockstar needs to improve its support system—it’s really disappointing.

It happened when a hacker created money for me, which led to my account being banned. They took about a week to respond and another two months to remove it. As a result, I’ve spent only a few minutes online since then.

They likely won't be available on the weekend. Don't assume a reply will come within one business day.

If anything exacerbates the situation, it’s a specialized support firm that performs poorly in customer service. I received a response in just one working day—about two days later I was still frustrated. This is becoming increasingly annoying, especially after three days with no acknowledgment. Come on!

Fewer people during the week would help since that’s when issues tend to arise and people usually have time to resolve them. If they responded tomorrow, I wouldn’t have the chance to fix it until 9 PM. Having staff working on Saturday and Sunday would make a big difference, especially since I’ve had the weekend off.

I actually sent the opposite message to r* support three days ago because GTA V was crashing with the BEX64 error. I received one or two replies each day, and yesterday the issue was fixed.
