Gaining insight into how forum users interact with IPv6 is valuable. I enjoy promoting adoption where possible, yet notice some resistance from those opting to disable it.

They are definitely a big international ISP. I’ve turned on IPv6 and received an IP from them, but when I run those “is it working” checks, they keep saying I don’t have an IPv6 address. My reply would be yes, but it’s not functioning properly now. It looks like their service might have changed recently.

I've turned off IPv6 on my primary LAN because it has several significant issues for my configuration. 1) pfSense lacks reliable IPv6 traffic monitoring and I want visibility into client internet activity. 2) Xbox updates its UUID each boot, making static IP assignment unworkable. 3) Problems persisted with older Android devices, though this is resolved now. 4) Using a VPN for region bypass causes complications with IPv6. 5) My load balancing setup for Steam downloads over FTTP and 5G would incur extra load on the router, and my 5G service doesn’t support IPv6. Additionally, when I had two genuine IPv6 services, performance didn’t balance well. To be clear, I have IPv6 enabled on my Linux server—it’s included in the main LAN and part of a dual-stack VLAN. I can also switch any Linux desktop into that VLAN if needed for IPv6, though this isn’t as straightforward on Windows.

In the SP field, implementing IPv6 is straightforward—no hesitation. Based on niche forum insights, proceed confidently with your IPv6 design, lab, testing, and deployment.

I quickly embraced IPv6 once I could. Obtained my HE.net IPv6 certification and established a tunnel, had my ISP disable the tunnel endpoint's data rate. Laughed all the way to the bank. The intricacy of my internal network is complicating dual stack a bit, but I’ll restore it after a full network reconfigure—my setup includes 53 devices excluding end-user machines.

If you're involved in disabling something, let me understand your reasoning. Thanks for clarifying with @alex-atkin-uk.
