I located an old GA-H61M-USB3V with a damaged BIOS. It boots up and displays the spash, then reports a corrupted BIOS. Do you know if this model supports Q-flash and which key it uses?

Most boards from the Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge periods featured dual BIOS, but this functionality didn't function in my experience.

So I actually used the same BIOS manual flash kit I got from China for my GA Z77 D3H. It was just a matter of flashing it manually in Linux and then re-soldering it onto the board. I don’t want to use another gigabyte or ASRock board again. I think it’s time to invest in an X570 MSI board.

MSI produces poor x570 boards, with only their premium models being acceptable.

I’d suggest sticking to options under £200 or $200. Delivery could make the price more competitive, especially if you’re based in another state.

Consider the Asus X570-P or X570 TUF. Alternatively, a B450 Tomahawk Max from MSI could work well, as they handled the B450 without issues, though it's a bit on the lower side of the range.
