Hi, I submitted a Steam support ticket recently to unlock my account, attaching all the necessary proof of ownership. It’s really frustrating since I love playing on Steam and can’t access it now. I’m even thinking about creating a new account to play CS:GO while they respond. Should I do that? And will they ever reply?

They offer decent help but I’d just sit and play Fallout Shelter all day.

You might receive a response within roughly a year. However, seriously, a famous YouTuber or Twitch streamer was banned and instructed to urge his subscribers to spam valve for tickets to get him released. Despite everyone sending strong messages, it still took around a month. I can only guess how much longer one individual would need.

Yeah depending on how much you can deal with not bring able to play csgo in the next two weeks it might be worth buying an alt.. just remember you've got to get it to level 3 now which is a boring grind of squeaker filled casual and the occasional valve dm

Open a new ticket; having two is preferable to one.

Don't want to be left at the end of the line D: maybe I could purchase CSGO from G2A and use it as an alternative if matchmaking gets blocked.
