When talking about items designed for use with LN2, some hobbyists are already doing this. However, trying to build something that works reliably with LN2 on everyday equipment hasn’t been successful so far—it’s considered impractical. The main challenges include limited LN2 supply for cooling, condensation issues caused by the cooling effect, and the difficulty of safely handling and storing LN2 after use. You can’t easily reuse it once it’s gone; you need special equipment to collect and store it, which is bulky and power-intensive. For my purposes, I prepare the board before condensation forms, as this setup could damage systems if not managed properly. It would need affordable hardware, simple recovery methods, protection against expected moisture, and consistent performance during operation.
It seems you're realizing you lack prior knowledge but can still tackle the task. That approach works well. The previous point was mainly interesting rather than essential for your work, but I appreciate you sharing the details.
It's perfectly fine to ask questions and I'm not making any judgments about anyone. This knowledge comes from watching and practicing, as well as asking the right queries. The same approach you're using now is excellent. You can definitely try it yourself and notice the results firsthand. If you have any particular concerns, feel free to send me a message—I'll do my best to help or guide you in the right direction.
I understand you're not, but recognizing my limitations is the initial stage of learning! If I ever explore advanced cooling systems, I'll remember your suggestion. For now, my focus remains on theory.
