The only sign it’s active is when I turn on the PSU switch. A white light inside the case flashes quickly, and a green light on the motherboard also lights up. Once they stop flashing, a green light pulses like a heartbeat near the PCIe ports. Also, the motherboard lacks an internal speaker, which likely explains the absence of any sound when I press the power button. I’ve taken out and reinserted all components, checked the CMOS battery, but the same issue persists with the lights. I’ve read about this “No POST” problem online, but the instructions for my Supermicro motherboard are unclear on the jumper settings or wiring details. Should I adjust any of the connectors? Could flipping the power wire that links the chassis to the case button cause damage? I’m unsure which jumper might need changing or if reversing the connection could help.
Sorry, I forgot to add that this is computer I built myself a couple of weeks ago and this is how it's been since I finished building it. As for getting a speaker to insert onto the motherboard, I can certainly buy one. But with this motherboard I haven't found the spot where an internal speaker would connect to. The chassis actually has a wire connector for "HD Audio", but either I'm completely overlooking it, or the motherboard doesn't have an audio input connector. Also I've looked in the motherboards manual and I haven't seen any indication of that audio connector. Though I'm suddenly wondering if this is a situation where I need to buy a PCI-e audio card, to test for the beep error code. Would that work?
Typically, the speaker header is close to the power or HDD indicator header. Usually two pins are used. Make sure your CPUs don’t require a BIOS update for this board to function properly.

Also, would flipping the Power SW wire connector from the chassis power button to the motherboard cause any harm? I’m trying to confirm these details without risking damage.
