They haven't received much attention because they're less prominent compared to the bigger brands, even though they have a solid presence and likely offer a wider selection.

Reviewing the cost and stock status of Supermicro boards might explain your concern.

What amount are you considering placing? https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#m=46 Supermicro isn't a typical choice for the consumer segment, and I'm puzzled about your reasoning.

They don’t really stand out in their gaming-focused boards. There’s usually just one or two per generation, and their newest Z590 model isn’t much better than the rest on the market. You’ll find them hard to locate, and when you do, they’re priced around 500$. It doesn’t make sense to highlight them since they compete with almost nothing. The only notable feature is a few models with mini-SAS ports, but these aren’t impressive or worth the cost.

The latest consumer motherboard I discovered was the LGA 2066. Honestly, it doesn’t stand out much. They build great server boards, but what defines a solid server board isn’t the same for consumer use. The VRMs on server models are usually average and built for strong airflow, while a comparable design on a consumer board would likely overheat or fail during overclocking attempts.

I just opened the page and noticed everything listed. I didn’t verify if the info was up-to-date. I thought about it after posting, but sadly it was too late.
