Super cool 3600 model
Super cool 3600 model
The sole Ryzen CPU included with the Wraith Spire RGB model was the Ryzen 7 1700. The standard spire comes with the 3600X, while the Wraith Prism (the RGB version) is sold with the 2700 and higher models.
The cooler will be paired with a specific CPU model, as mentioned by someone in my country who noted it comes with the 3600x variant.
To obtain the LED cooler version, choose a Ryzen 7 1700 or 2700 (non-X). The 2700 model featured the Wraith Spire RGB, similar to the 1700. Higher-end variants like 2700X, 3700X, 3800X, and 3900X offer Wraith Prism RGB. It's likely the 3950X also supports this feature, though confirmation is needed.
The Wraith Spire isn't particularly effective as a cooler. The Prism works fine if you avoid overclocking and don't mind some noise. Spire would be a better choice for optimal CPU performance—no need to spend excessively, just opt for something reasonable.
Honestly, if you're purchasing another AMD cooler, the Wraith Max (around $37) is a great choice. It offers RGB lighting but cools significantly better than the Wraith Stealth or Spire models. (The two Wraith units are also made of aluminum, while the max model uses copper.)
