Here’s the situation in a different way: I’m planning to dive into Rainbow Six Siege and was hoping to play on the console before, especially during the summer sale when prices might drop. But I ended up disappointed since it wasn’t available on Steam. I reached out to Ubisoft a while back about the sale, but they said they manage their own pricing. A week later I messaged them again, and still got no response. It’s frustrating, especially with Fortnite also facing similar issues in their latest update.

What a letdown... you weren't expecting Rainbow Six to be as cheap as hoped? I purchased it on G2A and you must use uplay regardless of the platform. I'm not sure what the fortnight has to do with Steam or its release, but games are always changing. I don't play battle royale titles. I mostly enjoy rail shooters.

If you purchased it from Ubisoft, you should be able to play with your Steam friends.

They typically receive a Uplay account. Rainbow Six Siege is exclusively available on Uplay and Ubisoft platforms. If you're in school, consider consulting a counselor. Otherwise, reach out to a hotline or a mental health professional. Off-topic areas could be useful for expressing feelings. I’m not equipped to assist with personal issues.

Thanks a lot! I’m just going to play something with some friends to take my mind off things. It’s not something I really feel the need to face—it’s more about talking than fighting. It hurts, but I appreciate you getting it across. Thanks.

You're asking about the pricing difference between Rainbox Six Siege on Steam and Ubi's website. It seems there might be a misunderstanding regarding discounts and commission fees. The base price should be consistent across platforms, but the actual discount could vary due to different sales strategies or regional pricing.
