Hello!
I'm experiencing persistent connection problems with my Intel Bluetooth Device when using it with an Aventree DG45 Bluetooth 5.0 Dongle. Both setups seem to cause drift and instability, unlike when using the controller with its original console or plugging it into my PC via USB.

I also tried using an 8-bitdo adapter for non-Nintendo controllers on Switch, but it worked better than the previous options. Still, it caused some issues.

Any suggestions could help? It doesn't seem to be a general connectivity issue, but rather related to compatibility with non-native USB devices. I'm only about 6 feet away from the adapter at most. I'd prefer not to purchase a new USB dongle, but if one exists that's tailored for PC game controllers, it would be ideal. I'm also thinking about getting an Xbox controller for PC, which might perform better with general USB devices.

Thanks for your time!

On the other hand, I own an ASUS Bluetooth adapter that functions well with my 8-bitdo controller and on/off with the different Xbox One controllers I've paired. I've experienced more issues with the wireless adapter for Xbox controllers, having used two on separate PCs. I've also had great results using a DualShock 4 controller via Bluetooth and set it up with DS4Windows to mimic an Xbox controller.

I use the XBox Wireless adapter. It has no connection problems, offers lower latency, allows the headset socket on Xbox controllers, and also connects the Xbox headsets.

The input is currently designed for Xbox brand controllers only. It does not specify compatibility with other systems like DuelSense or Switch Pro Controller. Your consideration of Xbox controllers is understandable given your current console preferences.

Good to know.
Do you have a link to the adapter you use? Also, could you explain what you mean by "8-bitdo controller"?

BT Adapter details are provided. Controller information is also included. I should note that I experienced some driver problems with Windows 11 during the initial month after its release, but those issues have been resolved.
