Check if the RTX 2060 meets your needs for smooth 1440p at 144Hz gaming, especially with esports titles. Pairing it with a Ryzen 3600 should work well.

In budget titles such as CS, it works, though you shouldn't expect performance on the latest high-end AAA games. For that, a system with at least a 5700xt would be required.

For esports titles, opt for reduced settings. Dota 2 may struggle to hit 144 FPS, but consider boosting your GPU a bit for a slight improvement.

It's sufficient to achieve 1440p at 60 frames per second for contemporary AAA games. Simpler visuals naturally yield better performance, and you can always lower the settings to capture more frames. You should be able to reach 144+ FPS in scenarios where high precision matters, though you might need to compromise on graphics quality to hit that target.

You might find AMD RX 5700 xt models at Newegg for a discounted price, including a rebate. It won’t have ray tracing but should reach a comfortable 1440p resolution.

I come from Serbia, so I can't use Newegg. But I appreciate the recommendation. I had a terrible experience with AMD graphics cards, so I won't be purchasing any for a while.

Hey there, sorry about the mix-up! AMD hasn’t always been great with graphics cards, honestly. My RX 580 has held up well (though I’ll admit it feels old now), and I completely understand wanting a Nvidia option.

I purchased 2060 just to be safe (and consider buying Nvidia if possible, AMD cards are okay.. Big Grin)

Imagine a 5700xt with liquid nitrogen still powering the most recent AAA titles at 1440p and 144hz. It's an impressive feat!

It depends on your preferences and desired performance. For fast-paced games, sticking to 1080p with that configuration works well, though you can achieve decent FPS at 1440p by lowering the settings. Ultimately, it comes down to what you're comfortable with. This setup should handle most 1440p games smoothly.
