Hi,
Last night my rig started with a new Core i5 6600K on an Asus Z170 motherboard and failed to boot at 3500GHz. After an OC since then, everything works fine without any problems. I kept the voltage at stock and only changed the multiplier to x44. I haven’t adjusted anything else, but I’ve heard that RAM could be the cause since nothing else has changed. Is this a likely reason? I’m confused about why it happened suddenly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I really hope it’s something simple to fix. Thanks a lot!

Freak accident? My suggestion is to restart and observe your startups for a week. If nothing occurs, simply let it pass. If the issue persists, share again. It might just be a static discharge, and feel free to add more details.
