Hello, I’m attempting to improve my HP dc7600 and have a couple of inquiries. I recently acquired a new Gigabyte gaming AB350M motherboard intending to install a Ryzen 5 1400 processor. I plan to maintain this configuration temporarily, but I'd like to ascertain its feasibility.

Specifically, will the existing power supply provide the necessary connections for the updated motherboard? And will the current RAM continue to function while I explore and determine the optimal RAM specifications for my needs? I’m aware that I currently possess only 2GB of RAM, but my primary goal is simply for the computer to boot up during my research phase (for general web browsing, not gaming). Furthermore, is it advisable to retain the old power supply – a 365W unit? Later on, after completion, I anticipate purchasing a 1050 TI graphics card alongside a new power supply, as the original will likely be insufficient, which is anticipated at least twelve months from now. Any assistance would be greatly valued.

Absolutely not.
It’s possible that particular unit could work.
I question whether the power supply will have the appropriate connections, though it potentially could. My main worry would be its age and the possibility of needing an add-on connector for the graphics card later on.
Your memory modules are incompatible; you'll require new DDR4.
The Ryzen 5 1400 processor lacks integrated graphics, so a dedicated GPU is necessary from the beginning.
Verify that the case you’re using is either identical or compatible with your motherboard.
For best results, acquire fresh components to complement your build.

Perhaps you could utilize that particular model.
