Successfully achieved initial RAM overclocking.
Hi everyone, I recently increased the clock speed of my 8GB Ballistix 2666MHz RAM to 3000MHz and adjusted the voltage to 1.320V. Is this a suitable and secure setting? I haven’t yet tested it with games or other applications, but I plan to do so now to evaluate its performance.
My timing settings have been adjusted, and the voltage is consistent. I performed a six-hour stress test using Prime95, and it successfully completed without errors.
okok, did some benchmarks and everything seems to be fine, need some more testing tho, also checked my fps in rocket leauge, had 220 now its 244 so its cool to get that extra fps, not that i needed it in that game haha. Btw using ryzen 2600 so paired with fast ram will give some performance boost
😱
Is altering the voltage truly necessary, or will it operate reliably at its original level?
To achieve optimal results, you’ll likely require a substantial voltage level, even with extended durations.
