Hey everyone, I recently tried playing Fortnite after a while and ran into some trouble. On DX12 with Epic settings enabled except for RT, the game would stutter. Even when I lowered the settings, it didn’t improve. Once I switched to performance mode, the stutters disappeared. It seems Fortnite is particularly sensitive to that kind of issue. My system specs are listed here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/justtarum/...iew=QnQmLk. I couldn’t locate my SSD m.2 but it’s a Gigabyte Gen3 2500E 1 TB drive.

He suggested adjusting CPU settings in Task Manager, but it didn’t make a difference.

I noticed stuttering often occurs with Fortnite on PC, especially after recent updates. It seems the GPU might be having trouble running the game at higher settings now. Yet, you still experience stuttering even at lower settings. Have you checked the task manager to see if your GPU and CPU are being used fully during play? This could provide more insight.

I checked and noticed my CPU spikes unpredictably between 30 and 70, while the GPU drops from 100 to 10.
