Hey everyone, I've seen some stuttering in GTA even though GeForce Experience keeps showing 60 FPS. Do you all notice the same thing? It sometimes runs smoothly, then suddenly drops to around 50 FPS while still being at 60... Wut. Enjoy the game EMENCII!

Yes, we have SSAO enabled.

Reduce the volume level. Msaa is quite demanding to operate, so lower it or disable it and check if the stuttering stops.

You might want to test vertical sync just to see if the issue is related to tearing. I have the same problem, but I believe getting used to tearing helped reduce the stuttering. I noticed that with vsync enabled there’s no stuttering, though I still disable it to try.

Same issue, FPS stays the same but I notice frame rates dropping. There’s some noticeable stuttering when going fast, like the maps aren’t loading quickly enough, kind of.

Environment lighting is strong, yet the graphics card isn't fully utilized. Often I notice performance drops... I never turned on Msaa, it doesn’t make sense. It’s been active all along, VSync works fine... No tearing observed.

It seems your card is reaching its VRAM capacity while loading data. Consider reducing population variety or other memory-heavy tasks. Also, long-distance scaling is quite demanding on the GPU when you're running it.

It's not about the SSAO, but rather the performance issues it causes. Adjusting the detail distance, shadow quality, and shader settings might improve the experience.

It doesn't reach 2.8GB, it's well within the limit. The GPU isn't restricted to full capacity. I'll attempt using SSAO next.

I think you're confusing me. The GPU doesn't need to be fully loaded to cause stuttering. People with lower specs can still experience issues, and the problem seems linked to SSAO being activated. I meant SSAO isn't functioning properly, which leads to stuttering.
