Hi
I've been using FIFA 16 for about six months without any issues. Recently, I experienced a significant problem lasting two weeks. When I start the game and begin the first match, everything works perfectly. But during the subsequent matches, the game starts to slow down gradually, eventually becoming unresponsive as time goes on. Notably, the frame rate stays steady at 60 fps, and both CPU and GPU temperatures never exceed 50°C. Usage of the CPU and GPU remains minimal. At that point, I didn’t install any new software; apart from the latest Windows 10 update, nothing changed on my system except for the usual updates. I attempted several fixes: updating GPU drivers, cleaning up system files, scanning with Avast and Malwarebytes, changing performance settings in Nvidia control panel, uninstalling Windows 10 updates, and running the game without background programs like MSI Afterburner or Avast. Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Occasionally, playing three to four matches in a row resolves the problem, but after the next match, stuttering begins. Initially there are minor delays, but as the match continues, the game becomes so slow that it’s no longer playable. You can view the situation in this video.

FIFA 16 STUTTER
I’m seeking assistance—I have no clue what might be causing this. I also play God of War Ragnarok and everything runs smoothly there. My computer specs: Ryzen 5 5600, RTX 4070, 32GB RAM at 3600MHz, game installed on a 240GB SSD (about 40% used), Windows 10 (M2 Kioxia Exceira 500GB). Power supply: SilentiumPC Supremo 550W 80 Plus Gold (new, 4 years old).

Update your post with complete hardware details and operating system information.
Power supply: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original, build, refurbished, used)?
Storage devices: make, model, capacity, current usage?
Recommended monitoring tools: Task Manager and Resource Monitor.
Keep both open during gaming sessions to track performance changes.
Observe the process step by step; it may take some time to understand the flow and identify what shifts when stuttering starts or stops.
Proceed carefully—patience is essential to grasp the full picture without rushing conclusions.

I tracked the computer's resource consumption during the game. When stutter occurs, nothing alters. Only Fifa 16.exe uses resources. During smooth play, Fifa uses roughly 30% CPU and 20% GPU. I adjusted screen settings and tested vsync and gsync compatible modes, with or without frame capping. Still no improvement. I attempted to disable services in Win10 as recommended in guides, such as indexed search and locations. I also tried uninstalling the Windows 10 update, but the issue remains unresolved.
