I received my PC in December 2021, everything worked perfectly according to the specifications. Then I began experiencing odd delays when reaching certain points on the map where textures loaded. I dismissed it since other games ran smoothly. Eventually, I noticed performance drops from a steady 144 FPS, with frames skipping and causing stutters. This problem spread across multiple titles, affecting about 85% of my games now. I've spent months trying to fix it but still have no solution. I’m certain it’s not related to the GPU, as stuttering persists at any resolution, NVIDIA settings, or graphics options. If anyone knows about this issue or a possible fix, please let me know! My system details: Ryzen 5 2600, NVIDIA GTX 1650, ASRock A320, 500W, AMD Gold Standard 80+ Bronze, Corsair Vengeance 16GB, 3200MHz RAM. I’ve tried everything from new RAM and monitors to adjusting services, overclocking, pagefile tweaks, closing background apps, changing window modes, and disabling sound and overlays.

I've faced issues before with old Nvidia cache slowing down my games even on an RTX 3090. Clearing the cache folder helped, but now Nvidia seems to have moved their cache location. I'm unsure where it is anymore and think DDU might be a better solution since it could address multiple problems. This should also resolve driver-related issues. Have you looked at your CPU and GPU temperatures and clock speeds?

Keep this in mind while searching for the folder. Temperatures are excellent, varying with the game—my CPU stays around 65-71°C on average, and the GPU is typically near 64°C. Clock speeds look normal; I might verify this again just to be sure.

Use CPU-Z to identify the correct motherboard model and then update the BIOS via the manufacturer's website or BIOS utility.
