I understand this discussion is quite old, yet it remains one of the more recent threads about this subject. The same issue persists as the original post describes, but updating compatibility hasn’t resolved it. I’ve tried all the steps mentioned in the original post—restarting the game, verifying file integrity, checking hardware status. The performance remains stable whether I run it at full settings in 1080 or 4K resolutions. It’s puzzling since this hasn’t impacted my other titles. I’m able to play DOOM with high settings on both 1080 and 4K, but the problem persists. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It’s surprising how far technology has drifted from the game’s original hardware requirements.
