It started acting up right when I turned it on, so I updated Windows and NVIDIA drivers, but nothing changed. I checked Task Manager and temperatures, CPU, and drives—everything looked normal. I also tried opening BIOS and FTPM, but they were already off.

I’ve had the games I tried (both on the 870 QVO drive, which holds most of my data) and Discord, but they’re running smoothly. My BIOS was set from January 2021, and I don’t think that’s the cause. The issue seems to be with my PSU. I ordered a Corsair 750W, but it was swapped in to speed shipping during the pandemic. I’m not sure if it’s still the right model—there are mixed opinions online. I’m worried it might be failing, especially since it powers my PC for just a few days a month and I shut it down daily.

I’m considering upgrading soon, as this machine is only used about four days a month and I power it off when away. I’m not very tech-savvy, but I try to stay informed and research before making changes. If you can help or share ideas, it would be really appreciated.

Possible reasons: Audio Configuration Audio Driver Network Configuration Network Driver or something similar... overall. Send again when you're back. Fixing the PC without being able to adjust it is quite challenging.

You misunderstood everything. Update the BIOS to version 1207 – it resolves most AM4 problems! Plus, you can get the newest chipset drivers straight from AMD without any extra steps.

I eventually figured it out. The issue was the Diagnostic policy service. I also pushed a few power settings in Windows, which makes it run even better. I probably will upgrade the PSU later for better performance and a more reliable brand.
