I enjoy playing Minecraft, which surprisingly consumes only a small fraction of my system resources – approximately 8% of my CPU and 20% of my GPU, while utilizing roughly 60% of my RAM. This pattern is consistent with other games like GTA, No Man's Sky, and numerous others I’ve tested. Frequently, my frame rate hovers around 60 when I anticipate achieving a maximum of 144. My hardware configuration includes a Ryzen 2700 processor and a GTX 1070 Ti graphics card, with 2x8GB of 3000MHz RAM installed. Importantly, my components are not showing any signs of overheating, and I’m uncertain about the root cause of this behavior. Consequently, my query is: what steps can I take to encourage my computer to utilize a greater portion of its GPU and CPU capacity?

Could you please specify your display’s refresh rate and the type of screen you have? It might be beneficial to examine an upgrade to a display with a higher refresh rate. If you’re consistently experiencing approximately sixty frames per second, it's likely that vertical synchronization is restricting your frame rate. You could disable vertical synchronization for improved performance, however, this may result in visual screen distortions like tearing.

With vertical synchronization disabled, I'm utilizing a 144Hz Acer monitor at 1080p resolution. I experience no difficulties running Overwatch smoothly at a consistent 144 frames per second, though that title is notably uncomplicated to operate. However, I’m currently observing only 40 frames per second in Minecraft, which is substantially lower than anticipated.

I'm puzzled by the notion that Minecraft deserves a significantly greater frame rate. Frankly, I find it to be an exceptionally disappointing game hampered by a truly inadequate underlying system.

The gameplay is remarkably straightforward and simple to master. This ease extends to titles like No Man's Sky, Grand Theft Auto, and countless other games—Minecraft serves as merely one illustration of this point.

The demands of Minecraft can significantly strain computer processing power, leading many to question the notion that it’s a straightforward program to execute.

It seems there might be an issue with driver compatibility, potentially due to recent updates where newly installed drivers aren’t performing optimally or are experiencing instability—this warrants a thorough examination.

Examine your system’s Windows updates, reviewing all available changes and verifying that any driver installations have occurred without your direct knowledge. Utilizing the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) tool, you can completely eliminate existing graphics drivers and subsequently reinstall the specific drivers you deem appropriate. Furthermore, if you've previously modified driver installations independently, consider systematically reverting each change individually, rebooting your system after each adjustment to assess performance.

Despite employing that software and removing then reinstalling my device drivers, the issue persists. Could you suggest alternative solutions?
