I purchased four units of G.skill flare x DDR4 CL14 8GB each, spending $140 on eBay. Is it possible to keep them? The seller provided the purchase receipt. The system can't recognize the 2 and 4 slots for RAM. Edit: 3200MHz

Certainly, it seems 'RMAing' is the correct term for replacement.

Yes, one stick suffices. The drawback is it operates in single-channel, restricting performance. This isn't relevant here since we're only checking if the sticks function or if the motherboard is the issue.
