As mentioned in the post, it's difficult to locate this specific adapter type. Your motherboard lacks PCI-E x8 ports, so you're looking for a RAID card that fits only PCI-E x8 slots. While many adapters are available from x8 to x16, none seem to offer the reverse configuration. I've searched eBay and Amazon but haven't found anything suitable.

Can you confirm if your device fits the PCIE x16 connector?

Place it inside a PCIe x16 port. This design allows compatibility with x1, x4, or x8 alongside x16. It may seem odd, but you won’t face functional problems—just visual differences.

Smaller cards can fit into bigger slots, which is a benefit of PCIe.
