Hello, I'm trying to launch "Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2" on my current system but it's not working despite following the instructions in several videos. Even after multiple installations, the game won't start properly. I've watched the steps from 77vids and tried everything, but I still can't get it running. My system specs are: Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Gigabyte Aorus B450 motherboard, 32GB RAM with Corsair Vengeance LPX, EVGA GTX 980 ti SC, and ample storage. I'm looking for any advice on getting this older title to function.

Ah, I really enjoyed Hot Pursuit 2. Sadly, it feels outdated now. It's not unusual for old games, even after community updates, to struggle on modern systems and operating systems. If you keep facing issues, running it in a virtual machine with Windows XP SP2 might be a good option.
DOSBox is working well. Was NFS-HP exclusive to Windows? It seems to have been a Windows-only title from our LAN sessions during the Win9x era.
