I concluded the problem was related to memory. It passes memtest without errors, but using two identical Dual channel kits (ripjaw x 8gb 1600 cl9 2x4) causes random BSODs most nights, usually overnight. Running with just one set works fine.

It might be due to the two RAMs having slightly different timing, leading to instability. If you can get a friend's RAM to test, we can verify it.
