I discovered two laptops that seemed quite appealing. The first is the Ace Swift 3 14 inch Ryzen 7 4700u with 512GB SSD, 8GB RAM. The second is the Lenovo Ideapad 5 14" Ryzen 7 4700u with 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM. I decided to go with the Swift 3, which I’m using well for school tasks. However, I noticed some issues with the colors and brightness. Despite that, I appreciate its performance for gaming, especially titles like FFXIV. I’m weighing the Ideapad as a potential alternative since it has a better screen and similar specs except storage. I’m also curious about why this exact Ideapad is hard to find, as both Amazon and Newegg have it. What do you think? Should I stick with the Swift 3, look into the Ideapad, or try something else?

You might discover that a 512GB SSD suits your educational requirements, and you may also desire a reliable desktop monitor for intensive tasks. Just my 2c.

I already own a desktop for gaming and as my primary computer, I’m looking for a laptop suitable for school and casual video watching or low/medium games. It should have enough storage, and while I could use an external SSD, I prefer not to manage it while traveling.
