Struggling a lot to restore the cooler again.
Struggling a lot to restore the cooler again.
I’m starting to think about giving up. Maybe this is the final option—sending my PC to tech enthusiasts online.
Are you asking or help or just ranting? We need more info if you want help. If ranting, sorry?
It seems you're asking about the easier and more challenging aspects of something. Generally, if it's described as "very hard," it might mean you're not approaching it properly—experience suggests that.
The plate can't be attached straight to the board, I need to secure it manually.
If you're setting up a cooler that needs a backplate after the motherboard is already in place, you typically need to secure it until you can drive in the screws. This is why initial installation often happens outside the case. I experienced this with the Vetroo V5 setup on my secondary computer—it was challenging but manageable. You might also use tape to keep the backplate steady, making sure the screw pressure stays moderate. Another method involves removing the motherboard and placing the cooler inside a box or having someone hold the backplate temporarily while you drive in a few screws.
Another suggestion: if you have a suitable container that fits through the back panel, position your case on top of it to support the backplate. Just ensure the case isn’t too heavy to avoid damaging the motherboard.
I have two choices that won’t work:
1. I don’t have anyone by my side
2. I’m not keen on turning off everything just for this
It requires five minutes... you need to focus on something else besides the case.
