Backstory simplified: I used the display driver uninstaller because my PC would freeze under various conditions—browsers, resolution changes, multitasking, and even when gaming. Despite good FPS in games, it would hang after a few seconds, especially when entering password screens. After trying to fix it, I ended up putting the machine into safe mode, which resolved the issue only on the login screen. The BIOS was fine, but the problem persisted. I checked everything inside and outside the case, but can’t pinpoint the cause. I’m considering reinstalling GPU drivers or making a bootable USB, though I’m worried about data loss. I’ve already backed up important files and plan to try solutions tomorrow.
