streaming platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney, etc., lead to my PC freezing and forcing a shutdown. this problem started recently; my system is a 3070 with an R7 5800X, 16GB DDR4 3600MHz, running Windows 10 Pro with the latest updates and GPU drivers. while using these services without issues, they consistently freeze my whole machine—mouse and clicks work but nothing loads or opens. I can open the Start menu and shut it down manually, but it doesn’t stop. This occurs after hours of watching or even just ten minutes. It also happens when I open the Netflix homepage with no video playing. I can play games for long periods without trouble, and YouTube functions properly. Having three monitors—two at 1080p and one at 1440p—helps me manage the workload.
