Start by confirming if anything is restricting your frame rate like Vertical Synchronization or Gsync—those can affect performance. Anything that caps FPS will likely ruin stability during recording or streaming in OBS. Review your settings; I don’t see your bitrate or resolution mentioned, but I’d guess you need around 5000kbps for your task. Also consider scaling techniques and encoding options, as well as differences between CBR and VBR.

Encoder is using NVENC now... In OBS, under the "video" tab I'm working with a basic resolution of 2560x1440 while my monitor is set to 2k. I'm downscaling to 1920x1080 at 60 frames per second. My bitrate is set to 6000 Mbps because I have a stable internet connection and it should function properly. I've configured it for CBR with the preset enabled, quality set high, and lookahead disabled. Psycho Virtual Tuning is off, and I'm using GPU 0 at maximum settings. B-Frames are enabled at 2. Should I disable G-Sync?

As I mentioned earlier, I've been relying on nvenc from the start... That's why I wrote this post. Working with nvec encorder shouldn't be a mystery to anyone.
