Hello everyone, I'm looking for the most affordable method to share my VR gaming setup across rooms. Right now I play directly in my living room using my rig, but the temperature is rising and I want to move it to my garage where I have more space. I need roughly 22 meters of cable from my gaming rig to the center of my garage. My Rift S headset is ready, and I have a spare PC (FX6350, R9 280X, 8GB RAM) set up as the streaming device.

I'm trying to find the cheapest option without spending a lot. Can Steam Link and Gigabit Network provide a decent experience? Might 2.5G work? Or is there a budget-friendly fiber optic extender for USB and DP cables? I know Linus made a video on this topic and I have access to many Simolink optical cables, which are similar to multiplex network cables but in black. However, those extenders are very pricey. Also, having CAT8 cable is possible, but the 10G network gear is costly. Is there any workaround that would save me money? Thanks for your help—I'm open to any suggestions.
