Your PC is located upstairs, and you're looking to stream games from your Nvidia 970 to a TV while playing them downstairs. You're considering using Shield Play or other methods, and you're curious about controller setup if it's not connected to the PC. You're open to buying new equipment but prefer something affordable. Thanks for your assistance!

I’ve learned how to launch the game on my laptop using Steam In-Home Streaming, connecting it via PC and HDMI to the TV. With a controller connected, I can enjoy immersive gaming from my couch on my computer.

With an Android device, you can stream games directly to Android, and many recent high-end models support MHL for connecting to TVs. I often use this method with my tablet.

It wasn't a big deal during the game, but it was present.

Thank you! I'll use the Steam at home service to check the streaming quality with your old laptop.
