Over the last couple of days I've experienced unusual network problems. My connection is 150 mbps, but it fluctuates between 5-10 mbps and sometimes drops entirely. I've tried adjusting settings, changing the router, and disabling bandwidth-heavy apps like Steam or Fortnite. The only change that stood out was using my new Asus PG348Q screen. I connected peripherals via USB 3 through an uplink, which also worked fine. For comparison, I use the ASUS Z77 MB and the PCE-AC88 Wi-Fi PCIe card. After unplugging the USB 3 link to test, I connected everything directly to the PC and everything functioned properly for a day. I reinstalled all removed software without issues. I'm wondering if the USB 3 connection to the screen was affecting my internet speed and if others have faced similar problems.

Yes, the UBS uplink manages internet access, peripheral devices, and the display.

The screen lacks internet links, so I assume it uses USB connections only. The video feed comes through a display port.

USB 3.0 might affect WiFi performance. Do you have any USB 2.0 connections on the motherboard that you could use to connect your monitor, since you don’t require USB 3.0 for input devices like keyboards or mice?
